What Is Incontinence?
The definition of incontinence can be quite simply lack of self control, but more specifically as it pertains to urinary and fecal incontinence, it means the inability to prevent the functions of urination or defecation.
This lack of control over bladder functions can be caused by both mental and physical conditions.

Treatment Options
Treatment for the incontinent varies for men and women. A common treatment for minor bladder control symptoms is the use of adult diapers or pads and changes in exercise and diet. More serious symptoms may require medications or surgery.
